Those were the years really worth living;
Those years of innocence,
Those years of being in love,
Those years of stealing carrots from the fields
During cross country,
The wonder years.
Those years of sleeping through history classes
And flunking tests and begging for extra marks,
Those years of competition for the inter house championship,
Those years of happiness,
Those years of being crazy,
The wonder years.
Those years of rivalry with the Hebronites,
Those years of having the best outings to the city,
Those years of finding Cockroaches in the Biryani
Which was, Oh so Disgusting,
Those years of waiting for parents to send snacks from home,
The wonder years.

Friendship
You came into my life
For which I'm ever thankful.
And changed the way I looked at life;
Because you were there when I was happy,
You were there when I was sad,
You lent me your shoulder to cry on,
You told me what was right and wrong,
You brought that smile on my face,
For which I'm ever grateful.
You, my friend, are a blessing from above.
For which I'm ever thankful.
And changed the way I looked at life;
Because you were there when I was happy,
You were there when I was sad,
You lent me your shoulder to cry on,
You told me what was right and wrong,
You brought that smile on my face,
For which I'm ever grateful.
You, my friend, are a blessing from above.
Days Of Glory
Getting up late and rushing to school,
And reaching late for prayers,
And sleeping through the history classes;
Those were the days of glory.
Going to the classrooms for evening studies,
And wasting time when one's supposed to study,
And flunking the tests and begging for extra marks,
Those were the days of glory.
Debating, Elocution, Drama, and Singing,
Basketball, Football, Cricket and Hockey,
That competition to get the Big Championship,
Those were the days of glory.
Those days of waiting for the Christmas dance,
Those days of waiting for the yearly outing,
Those days of waiting to have a private moment with one's beloved,
Those were the days of glory.
And reaching late for prayers,
And sleeping through the history classes;
Those were the days of glory.
Going to the classrooms for evening studies,
And wasting time when one's supposed to study,
And flunking the tests and begging for extra marks,
Those were the days of glory.
Debating, Elocution, Drama, and Singing,
Basketball, Football, Cricket and Hockey,
That competition to get the Big Championship,
Those were the days of glory.
Those days of waiting for the Christmas dance,
Those days of waiting for the yearly outing,
Those days of waiting to have a private moment with one's beloved,
Those were the days of glory.

My Superhero, My Big Brother
When I was born, you held me
And in your arms, I felt protected.
When I was three, You held my hand
And I looked up to you as a hero
Like any sister would.
When I was sixteen, You stood by my side,
And I found my best friend in you.
When I turned eighteen,
I found a father figure in you.
You were there for me always;
To take care of me,
To protect me,
To play with me,
To be my friend,
And be my Superhero,
My Big Brother.
And in your arms, I felt protected.
When I was three, You held my hand
And I looked up to you as a hero
Like any sister would.
When I was sixteen, You stood by my side,
And I found my best friend in you.
When I turned eighteen,
I found a father figure in you.
You were there for me always;
To take care of me,
To protect me,
To play with me,
To be my friend,
And be my Superhero,
My Big Brother.
My Home, My Life, My School.
I walked through your doors for the first time,
And I felt that I belonged to you;
You welcomed me with open arms,
And made me feel at home.
You gave me my friends,
And taught me how to love;
You gave me my teachers,
And taught me how to listen and learn.
You gave me my smile
And took away my frown;
You gave me my life
And taught me how to live.
Now, when I am away from you,
I thank God
That you are everything to me;
My Home, My Life, My School.
And I felt that I belonged to you;
You welcomed me with open arms,
And made me feel at home.
You gave me my friends,
And taught me how to love;
You gave me my teachers,
And taught me how to listen and learn.
You gave me my smile
And took away my frown;
You gave me my life
And taught me how to live.
Now, when I am away from you,
I thank God
That you are everything to me;
My Home, My Life, My School.
